Feeling Brand New

I went to a Moms of Twins Club meeting last night and feel like a brand new woman. I spent two hours with women! I had an uninterruped dinner, yummy dessert, and lots of conversation. I joined a few committees and am looking forward to our upcoming consignment sale. I am determined to be an active participant this year because I need the socialization, and the twins need time with someone other than me. I left the twins with David, and Thomas was screaming when I walked out the door...not because I was leaving. We weren't sure why he was so mad, but he got over it quickly I was told. David had leftovers in the frig for supper and had good play time with the twins before giving them their bottles and putting them to bed. When I got home all was quiet. I'll bet David enjoyed the night as much as I did.
