Thomas wearing one of his premie outfits from Nana - 7/22/06
Yesterday was a busy day, we took Thomas to the pediatrician for his first appt. They wanted to check his bilirubin and we had the Dr. look at his little circumcised penis. All is well, we have another one scheduled for Monday but we're going to try to reschedule that one for later in the week.
From the pediatrician's office, we headed to the hospital to visit with Elizabeth. I fed her a bottle while Ashley fed Thomas in the car. Then Ashley visited Elizabeth while I took care of Thomas. Last night Elizabeth had her iv removed and also the pulse ox monitor on her foot. She also "graduated" to NICU III, which means she is doing better than the other babies in NICU II. We're hopeful she'll be home very soon.
Our good friends Tim & Helen stopped by yesterday to visit for a few hours. They're vacationing in Hilton Head this week. I haven't seen them in years so it was great to see them and for them to be able to visit with Thomas.
I seem to be getting another summer cold so I won't be visiting Elizabeth today. We're getting ready to go to the hospital though so Ashley can deliver some milk and spend some time with our little girl.
Last but not least, I'm adding a link to Google Calendar to the right hand side of the blog. I thought it might work well to schedule visitors.

Love the update and the pictures! Especially Thomas in his big-boy clothes.
Hi Elizabeth!! Grow big and strong so you can ride a bike with auntie!
Bless his little heart. All dressed up in his preemie clothes and they are still too big for him. The way he is growing, I bet it won't be long before he is out of them though.
Can't wait to hold him and give him hugs and kisses.
Hope that Elizabeth will join him at home very soon.
Love, Nana
