It turns out my husband is a pretty smart guy. I tried his recommendation -- giving the twins milk before their solids today at lunch, and it worked. Both T and E drank a little over 3 ounces of very cold cow's milk Yay!
They have actually tried many new table foods so far. Here is a list:
Turkey (deli meat) T liked, E did not
Ham (deli meat) T liked, E did not
Cheddar cheese T liked, E did too
PBJ sandwich T liked, E did too
Whole wheat bread T liked, E did not
Biscuit with jelly T liked, E did too
I plan on trying cantoloupe this evening. They are ever changing little people.

Isn't it funny how different they can be. I am still amazed at how my three eat so differently. My youngest is still not into cow's milk and prefers mommy over everything else. She's almost 14 months.
I wish I were still nursing! How wonderful that you are still able to do that. Elizabeth is so picky about different textures in her mouth and has been since the NICU.
