New Experiences.....New Refusals

We had a great weekend with Aunt JoJo and Poppy. It was hard to see them leave this morning as is always the case when I have to say good-bye. They will be back in two weeks though for the birthday party. Thomas and Elizabeth had a good time with them both, and David took some outstanding pics. He never disappoints, that husband of mine.

Yesterday we tried giving the twins cow's milk in their cups following their lunch. Thomas drank a little bit, but Elizabeth kept spitting her milk out. So, I ended up giving them both a bottle of formula. I tried again today, and Thomas drank a little over 3 ounces (yay!) Elizabeth spit hers out again and drank a bottle of formula. Our baby girl is remaining true to form...she refused the bottle at first and now cow's milk. She takes her juice really well from the cup so I know the cup is not the issue. We will keep trying. I guess we may have to try soy milk if she continues to spit her cow's milk out. No worries at this point.

Any advice from those who have been there?

Birthday party countdown....two weeks.

will she drink formula from cup? or just juice?

If her formula is usually warm then you may try warming the milk as well.

I tried to give her formula from a cup again today ( I tried it a couple of weeks ago), but she wouldn't take it...so far just juice from a cup.

I have been warming the milk, and it doesn't seem to make it any more appetizing to her.

Thanks for replying! How is your hand, Amy?
