8 weeks old today!

Thomas and Elizabeth are 8 weeks old today! They had their first babysitter today who was not a family member. (Their first official babysitters were Gramps and Grandmother Jane) A friend offered to come over for a couple of hours this morning so I could run some errands. She has ten year old twins and has been dying to keep our twins. It was nice to get out. I treated myself to lunch. It was nice to get to eat a whole meal at one time :) I guess I was gone almost two hours and really enjoyed myself but was anxious to get back to our babies.

I can't believe they are 8 weeks old! They are waking up for only one night time feeding now which is geneally around 2 or 3 and then are up for the day around 6 or 6:30. They are stirring -- time to eat!

Nice to hear you're treating yourself to a little time alone. Bet your friend had a great time, also. How many times did you call to check in? I'm glad you have an experienced friend to compare notes with in raising twins. Ashley, they are just beautiful! How are they alike and different?
My roses are blooming full force with a bit of cooler weather. Would be nice to have you, Thomas and Elizabeth sharing the swing or glider with the water bubbling and a soft warm breeze.
Take care dear heart. Cheryl's birthday is this Sunday the tenth.

Marcia

Emmett sends his love and best wishes.

Hey Marcia! It is so good to hear from you! I had a good time on my outing but was happy to see the babies' sweet faces when I returned. In describing Thomas and Elizabeth I would say Thomas seems more laid back and Elizabeth is a little fireball -- for now at least. I know that can change as they develop. I would love to see your roses! I will have to give Cheryl a call tomorrow.

Tell Emmett I said hello!

Hey Uncle Jimmy! I am going back to work 10/26. I am going to take the twins to daycare for 1/2 days the week before I return to try to help me/us make the transition.
