My doctor's appointment

I have not had time to post about how my 6 weeks check-up went on Friday. I had a great check-up -- everything was fine. The doctor thought the twins were adorable and was very impressed that I am nursing them both successfully without supplementing with formula. He told me he never thought I would carry them as long as I did since my first hospital admission was at 16 weeks. He asked to be reminded about my infertility -- cause, etc. and warned me that he had seen lots of women with unexplained infertility get pregnant unassisted following a pregnancy resulting from fertility treatment. I told him if I got pregnant anytime soon it would send my husband over the edge :)

Eden is our "how did that happen?" baby and we can't imagine life without her! Sometimes God gives us challenges (I know twins are enough) to make us better and stronger!

Gosh, I think Thomas and Elizabeth need someone to pick on.
Did you not tell me one time their were twins on your side of the family.
Of course the Dr,thinks you two would want to wait just a little bit,but what the heck should be a enough Asparagus growers out their to keep a family of six going.
Glad to see you four are stepping out,how long did it take you all to get ready?

Hey Uncle Jimmy! No twins on my side of the family. We ended up with twins because of my fertility treatments. Family of six? David's blood pressure may go up just reading your message :)

It doesn't take too long to get ready. We just have to plan ahead and be ready to leave as soon as I get the babies fed.
