Elizabeth and Thomas are 8 months old today! I can't believe it....really can't believe it. We had a good birthday...good play time, good naps. I took their swings to the back porch and gave them each a sippy cup of juice without the stoppers in them. I want to let them play with their cups so they can learn how to hold them and use them. Thomas did pretty well with his cup. He did eventually hold it after some hand over hand help. I'm not sure how much juice he drank vs. how much he spilled, but he enjoyed it. Elizabeth did much better than I thought she would. At first she did not want the spout in her mouth, but by the end she was putting it in her mouth by herself. I think most of her juice ended up on the front of her dress. It was lots of fun! We also had a nice late afternoon walk. It was in the low 80's here today....beautiful!
Our babies are growing so fast. Wow, how time flies!

8 Months! Wow... Isn't springtime too fun?!?! We are loving the weather these days, too! Lots of picnics :)
I love picnics! Can't wait to take the twins on a picnic!
The joys of motherhood. Spring always helps for a change of scenery - outside time! Kids love it! Savor every moment - it does fly by too fast.
Hey Marria! Good to hear from you!
It has been awhile since I have checked in with on how the twins and parents are doing. 8 months! They will be one before you know it. Hayden and I are on spring break and of course, Jason is out of town for the week. I worked all day on getting clothes ready for the local consignment sale coming up. It is a lot of work. I did not even make it to the toys yet. I sent Logan and Claire to the babysitter's so I could get some work done. Hayden, mom, and I went to LR on Monday. I had an eye appointment. I guess you could say I got a good report. He did not think the membrane was trying to grow back since the surgery (yet). There is still some fluid there so he wanted to do another shot in the eye. I did it reluctantly. After the doctor's appointment, Hayden and I went to the zoo. We had a great time. I wish Logan and Claire could have been there but I would not put my mom through watching them during my appointment (you never know how long we are going to be there). Logan is talking so much at home. He does not talk much out in public and the babysitter thinks I am fibbing. She says that she hardly knows that he is there. I need to start potty training with him. It is just so hard to keep my mind on it is time to go potty every hour with everything else going on at the house. He will tell me when he needs to go poop. He just does not care about peeing. Claire is 16 months. She has a big ole belly with short legs. Good thing Mimi can hem. Claire is going to need it in the future. I guess, mommy should learn how to hem. Hayden is ready for school to be out. It is amazing how much kids learn in kindergarten now. He is reading some. He has brought home math sheets that deal with graphs, probability, and geometry. I am impressed but it makes me worry about the future demands on our children.
I am glad you are having some good weather. I know T and E will enjoy their outdoor outings.
Last week, I walked some with Claire and Logan. Claire's allergies seem to be acting up some now. Running nose.. I started sneezing last night myself. I love spring but I always get a cold when the season changes.
I guess I should go get in bed. It is 10:15 and I have had thirty minutes to myself. Time to go to sleep. Claire will be ready to get up around 6:30 to eat. She loves breakfast.
Take care.
