First cereal experience last night
We fed T and E rice cereal for the first time last night, and what a mess it was LOL! David got almost all of it on video and took some still shots. I'm not sure if they are on flickr yet but watch for them. They should be quite funny. We fed them the cereal at their bedtime feeding around 9:00pm. I may try to do it a little earlier though so we can all get in bed a little earlier. I mixed the cereal with my breast milk so it would have more flavor. Neither T nor E really knew what to do with the spoon or the cereal once it got into their mouths, but I know that it is a skill they will develop with practice. It sure will be fun watching them practice and learn. This first year of life is so amazing in terms of how much they grow and learn and develop. God is good!

Really enjoyed looking at pictures.Looked like they were saying what is this and why do we have too eat it.It like the first time you ever remembered eating Liver your self or those other wonderful things our Mother's fixed for Breakfast.
Hey Uncle JImmy! They did a little better tonight. After talking with a good friend I am going to switch to the oatmeal cereal. It is more nutritious than the rice cereal.
Going to bed.
I sure miss those babies.
You aren't the only one!
Hey Auntie! They miss you too!
He is good! Isn't being a mama a growing experience?
I viewed your photo gallery - finally! The pic of you nursing both the babies needs to be in a magazine! It's fabulous. You should send it in and write an article on nursing twins. Beautiful photography - very discrete but captures the moment!
Hey Marria! Being a mama is a growing experience! There is so much uncertainty (sp?). I just pray I don't mess up too badly :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. David is a pretty talented photographer I think. I wasn't so sure about posting the nursing pics on the blog but decided there was nothing to be ashamed of. Writing an article about nursing is a good idea. I have loved every minute of nursing even when I am falling asleep with them latched on. It is such a special time for me to have with them. I know you understand.
Merry Christmas!
